Monitor display chopped (top and bottom)

I have plugable connected in dual monitor mode (2 external monitors) from a dell laptop. For one of the older monitor (SyncMaster710n) the display is chopped off in the top and bottom. My current resolution is at 1280 by 800. If I were to reduce my resolution to 1024 by 768 it seem to fix the problem, but I don’t want to do that. Is there any other better solution?

Hi Sudheer,

Thanks for posting! The Samsung SyncMaster 710n has a native/maximum resolution of 1280x1024. So that mode will be best, and all our USB graphics products can set that mode – so it should be possible.

Is 1280x1024 being shown as available? If not, are you running any of the displays as mirroring the others (in which case, Windows has to select the lowest common mode, which might be less than the maximum)?

Thanks for letting us know, we’ll be able to help make the most of your setup.

Thanks,
Bernie
