Microsoft Surface Book 2 - Dual Monitors

I just got this and want to run 2 27 monitors that I already have.What do I need to accomplish this as smoothly and simple as possible with HDMI?

They are both P2714H. I thought they used HDMI, but it’s actually the DisplayPort.

Thanks for this additional information! We haven’t tested with the same monitors, but from our product line of our our UD-6950 docking stations (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075DJMVW2) may be the best fit assuming you are only wanting to run office/productivity applications. If your use case is using video playback applications, 3D and high quality graphics work we would not recommend one of our USB graphics adapters or docking stations.

Using the UD-6950 dock you can connect the two Dell P2714H monitors with DisplayPort to DisplayPort cables as well as other USB peripherals and wired network cable.

Please be aware that the dock requires DisplayLink software to be installed in order to work properly. DisplayLink (the manufacturer of the chipset within the dock and author of the software) has a compatibility check tool here → https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/544297-is-my-windows-computer-compatible-with-displaylink in order to determine if your system is compatible with the required software.

Additionally, please be aware that the UD-6950 dock does not charge the battery of the laptop it is connected to. If this is also a requirement, please let us know and we can determine if we offer another solution.

Edit: Unfortunately, at the time of posting this response our UD-6950 dock is out of stock. However, we do have our UD-6950H dock (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CRSH25X) available for the time being. The UD-6950H offers similar functionality as the UD-6950, but in a horizontal form factor.
