LG34UM59P 34" monitor with UD-6950 does not display correctly

Received UD-6950 and trying to connect to a 34" LG monitor. The display comes on and off, and when on is pixelated. Also, the max resolution is only 1920x1080, not 2560x1080 (which I can get if I plug monitor directly into Dell laptop-Windows 10). What can I do to get this monitor to correctly connect?

Based on your description of the behavior, our first step is to get some additional information from your system.

If you would, please keep the dock connected and monitor attached (even though it is not working) and attach the output of our diagnostic utility PlugDebug ( http://plugable.com/support/plugdebug ) to an email to ‘support@plugable.com’ with the subject line ‘Ticket #260070 Attention Pat’ email as this will allow us to examine some log files from your system to help determine the next steps.
