Kubuntu Neon errors "Not enough free handles to register service"

On Kubuntu 16.04, get lots of errors “Not enough free handles to register service” with plugable USB bluetooth adapter. Although the device is detected by the system on level, the actual device is never seen.

Hi John,

Thank you for posting about your Bluetooth adapter. I’m sorry about the problems you are having with it in Kubuntu.

After doing some research on the internet, this seems to be an issue that crops up from time to time in Debian-based distros like Ubuntu, although I have not seen it personally.

One person (https://superuser.com/questions/11348…) has said that the following terminal commands work:

$ sudo bluetoothctl

power off

power on

quit

Please let me know if this helps.

Thanks!

David
