Keyboard and Mouse not working

My keyboard and mouse (both wired) work with my usb dock but when i unplug them from the dock and plugs them into the PC it works for 2mins then my mouse stops working but stays lit up and my keyboard stops working and the lights flash on and off and disconnecting and reconnecting

No I’ve restarted my computer twice and it would just disconnect and reconnect
