It worked YESTERDAY

I just got my Plugable device yesterday, hooked it up, and it all worked fine. Today I started up my Windows 7 machine, and it keeps giving me an error “Unknown device”. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and nothing seems to work. Any thoughts?

Sorry to hear about the issues. I’ll be happy to help investigate.

The first thing we’ll want to try is a device reset in case it’s in a hung state internally. To reset, we’ll unplug the power and USB to the docking station for about ~30 seconds. You’ll then re-plug power, followed by USB and we’ll see if things behave differently.

If the problem still occurs after a reset, please gather a set of troubleshooting logs using our log-gather tool at the link below. It will create a .zip file on your desktop which you can email to support@plugable.com for us to analyze further (please put Ticket: 102382 in the subject line).
