Is your USB 3.0 PCI compatible with Dell Studio XPS 8000?

I see a review on Amazon that the Plugable USB 3.0 PCI is not compatible with a Dell XPS 9100. I have a Dell Studio XPS 8100. Will your USB 3.0 PCI work with it?

Indeed there was a previous issue with a Dell XPS 9100, however we aren’t sure if it was just a software or hardware compatibility issue.

We have no good reason to believe that it won’t work with a different Dell machine - or even a different 9100. From the specs we can see on the internet, the 8100 seems to have a different motherboard altogether, making us lean more on the positive side.
