Just got new 27" 5K iMac with ThunderBolt3 that I would like to connect to my Dell U2515H ext monitor with displayPort input.
Will the Plugable USB-C to DisplayPort adapter cable work with this?
Hi Mike, thanks for posting! We have just received the new 2017 iMac and initial tests look positive. We have had success using our USBC-DP cable with external screens, however, we do not have the same model of Dell display in our labs for testing. Based off of our internal results, I would expect our cable to work when connected to a DispalyPort input port on your Dell monitor and iMac.

While I don’t have one of those fancy macs around, I can confirm that the Dell U2515H display in particular successfully receives 2560x1440@60hz from Plugable USBC-PD cable using a few different source computers.
