i have an ipad2 and an iphone5 which i need to charge simultaneously without connecting to the pc which device will work

Thanks for posting your question here! Only Apple devices with the lightning connector will pull higher power from a BC 1.1 hub like our Plugable USB2-HUB4BC to charge at a higher rate when the hub is not connected to an upstream computer system.
Older Apple devices with the 30 Pin connectors do not distinguish between a BC 1.1 hub and a standard hub and will behave the same way as plugged into a standard USB Hub even when plugged into our Plugable USB2-HUB4BC
