How would I connect 1 monitor using an hdmi cable to the plugable docking station.

Hi Leslie,

Thanks for posting your question here! A DVI to HDMI passive adapter is enclosed in the package with the Plugable UD-3000 in order to connect a monitor via HDMI to the DVI port on the dock.

Please note that as the default output of the graphics port on the Plugable UD-3000 is DVI and since DVI does not have any support for audio, audio will not pass to the monitor through this HDMI connection.
