How do you configure audio to work through the dock instead of relying on the laptop’s speakers? The laptop is closed when connected to the dock; so, clearly I don’t want to use its speakers.

Hi John, thanks for posting! In order to have sound come from speakers that are connected to the audio port on the front of our dock we will want to make sure that the Plugable Audio device is selected as the Default Playback device. To do so, please follow these steps:
- Right click on the Speaker icon in the task tray on your task bar and select Playback Devices (Alternatively, you can open Control Panel > Sound)
- Left click to select the Plugable Audio device from the Sound window that appears and click Set Default (example screenshot attached below)
- Connect your headphones/speakers to the docking station and test playing audio.
Does changing the Default Playback device help get audio working through our dock?
