How can I connect Plugable USB 3.0 to my laptop using HDMI Cable?

I can connect to my laptop fine using another cable , just thought that it work faster if i used HDMI cable instead.

Hi Roy,

The Plugable USB device must be connected to your system with a USB cable to allow data to be sent between the devices. (HDMI is only to transmit video; USB carries the necessary data that makes it all work.)
