Fix for IPv6 drop on awake from sleep usb 2 to gigabit Ethernet Adapter

Plugable USB 2.0 to 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN Network Adapter (ASIX AX88178 Chipset)
The adaptor was loosing it’s IPv6 address upon waking from sleep I found the solution was to go into advanced settings for the adapter and turn off let the computer turn off this device to save power. I am running a desktop with windows 8.1. Device works extremely well.

Thanks for confirming the fix that worked.  We’ve seen that disabling power saving mechanisms to get both USB storage and HID (keyboard/mouse devices) working normally under Windows 8.1 is necessary.  It’s great to know this was also relevant here.
