External Hard Drives keep "reconnecting" on 4 port USB 3.0 Hub

I recently bought and started using the 4 port USB 3.0 hub. I have three external 3TB hard drives connected. At least once every day (overnight?), one or more hard drives “reconnects”–that is, Windows 7 displays the default window offering various options for a newly connected/discovered peripheral.

Why is this happening and how do I stop it?

Thanks for posting your question here on our support forum. There can be a number of reasons why hard drives disconnect and reconnect, it a common symptom with many causes. To get a better idea of what’s happening on your system I’ll need you to send in a bit more information.

What is the make and model of your hard drives?

What is the make and model of your computer?
