Everything works except the USB ports - UD-3900

I have hooked up my new UD-3900 Docking Station. The HDMI display adapter and the Ethernet port seems to work fine. But none of the USB orts appear to work.

My installation sequence was:

I loaded the latest drivers: DisplayLink+USB+Graphics+Software+for+Windows+8.0+M3.exe

Then rebooted and then plugged in the primary USB cable to the UD-3900

Seemed reasonable enough…

Since most of the device functions but just the USB ports don’t, I am inclined to believe that I am just missing a driver or something. But I don’t see any reference to having to install anything other than the above-mentioned driver. Is there anything obvious that I have failed to do?

Follow-up: I have found that a USB 3.0 Flash Drive plugged into one of the Plugable’s USB 3.0 ports. But it doesn’t work in a 2.0 port and my other USB devices do not work. So this problem isn’t clear cut - but I still am hoping to be told I overlooked something obvious :slight_smile:
