Driver loading issue with 'plugable 3.0'

Question? Whenever I restart/reboot the laptop (ASUS Z54C) I have to turn the ‘plugable 3.0’ unit off and on TWICE before it loads out the drivers for my mouse and ultimate box I have connected. Can you tell me why this is happening? Is there something I can do? P.S. I leave the plugable unit powered up all the time; and, when I turn it off and on, I do wait a minute or two between each action. This is a NEW laptop, and new plugable 3.0 box. Yes, I downloaded the latest drivers.

By the way, thanks for the email BEFORE I got the box alerting me to the update.
Great upfront customer service…
Thanks

Hi Dan,

Thanks for posting, I’ll be happy to assist! Are you referring to the Plugable USB 3.0 Docking Station in the link below?

Or is it the Plugable USB 3.0 SATA U3 hard drive docking station here:

http://plugable.com/products/USB3-SAT…

If it’s the UD-3000, can you say what’s happening on the docking station connected display when your reboot. Does it come up? What about any other devices you have connected. Do they work when it first comes up?

If it’s the second, what happens it you have the power of when you reboot and wait until the machine is booted to turn on the dock.

Let me know these details and we’ll figure out some next troubleshooting steps.

Thanks,
Jerome.
