i have tried other solutions but they are not working as i would like i was just wanting to know if this would work on a mac and also if it will be able to run 2 external monitors also would it work on an old laptop running xp if it was needed to

I’m sorry, we don’t currently recommend USB graphics for OS X. While drivers are available, there are limitations in OS X’s support for external graphics has important functional and performance limitations. As OS X updates are released, we test each one and post on http://plugable.com/category/mac/ If you like, you can follow those posts for word on when OS X stabilizes in this area.
