DOA power adapter

Hi, I just bought a usb 3.0 docking station (UD-3900 Rev B2) and I think the power adapter is dead. I took it out of the package plugged it in, and nothing happened. I checked with my multi meter and saw that there isn’t any voltage coming out of the power adapter. What should I do? The other one I bought works perfectly.
