Tried the firmware upgrade, but still doesn’t wake. Have an ASUS Vivobook and am using the supplied Thunderbolt cable.

I am sorry to hear that you are running into issues with your TBT3-UDZ, but I would be happy to help diagnose the issue here.
Can you confirm that no matter which HDMI port you connect the display to on the dock, that the same issue occurs?
Additionally, when you switch which monitor is connected to the HDMI port, does the issue persist on the monitor connected to the HDMI port, or does it switch over? This is of course assuming that you are using dual monitors. If you are using a single monitor then you can ignore this step.
