Dell SK-8110 PS2 keyboard

dell SK-8110 PS2 keyboard works fine when connected directly to the notebook via PS2-USB adapter but not when connected to Plugable UD-160-A or when 160-A is connected to the notebook

Hi Karen,

Thanks for posting! Sorry to know about the trouble you are having connecting the Dell keyboard to the notebook via the Plugable Docking Station UD-160-A.

Some quick questions to understand the setup and the issue better-:

  1. What is the make and model of the notebook and the current version of OS installed?

  2. What is the make and model of the PS2-USB adapter?

  3. When the Dell keyboard is connected directly to the notebook through the PS2-USB adapter and the Plugable Docking Station UD-160-A is plugged into another port on the notebook does it work without issues?

  4. What are the make and model(s) of the other devices plugged into the Plugable Docking Station UD-160-A? Are they all working without issues?

  5. If you plug in a USB mouse into the same port on the Plugable Docking Station UD-160-A that you plugged in the keyboard via the PS2-USB adapter, is it detected by the OS and work without issues?

Once you post back with this information, we will figure out the next steps.

Thanks for your patience!

Regards,
Roze
