DC Power

Yes I just opened the 10 port hub and the DC plug does not push in all the way is this normal. If not is there a way to fix the problem?

Hi Dale,

Thanks for posting! There are a few extra millimeters up to the thick plastic part, but as long as

  1. You’re getting power (the blue LED is lit even when not plugged into your PC)
  2. The cable doesn’t detach with unexpectedly small bumps or tension

Then it sounds like all normal and as it should be.

The extra length of the plug barrel can be confusing. Just let us know if the power connection isn’t solid in any way - that would point in the other direction to a problem with this unit.
