Communication lost when screen saver turns on

I am running the latest version of lion on an iMac. I just installed the plugable USB to VGA converter. It works well until the screen saver turns on. At that point I lose the connection until the system is rebooted. Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks for your question. Can you say more about your setup? Are you running 10.7.3? If so there’s some information and release notes available here:

Also, can you say more about which DisplayLink drivers you’re running and which OX X version you have? Also, what make and model of monitor do you have.
