Is there a way to change the video orientation of the pluggable digital viewer? I am trying to use it for soldering but sometime it is upside down/backwards depending on the available space over the work project.

Thank you for your message! Unfortunately, there is no way to change the viewing orientation in the Digital Viewer software.
When you are using the microscope with the logos facing you (as in the example photo below), the orientation should be correct in the Digital Viewer software.

For this specialized use case, you may want a more flexible and customized setup to ensure you find the orientation(s) that work best for you. The microscope stand was designed with modularity in mind, all threads are 1/4"-20, which is the same as all camera mounts.
This means that the microscope can be attached to nearly any tripod or camera mount out there, or modified to fit a custom mount. You can also try something like placing the suction cup on a piece of glass, such as a window, and placing your subject matter below that.
