My stand alone cd burner is not working on my 7 port plugable hub. Can you help me?

Does the port you’re using with your CD burner work with other devices? If so, you’re likely running into this issue due to your CD burner requiring more power than a USB hub can offer.
Otherwise, it’s also very common for CD burners to be incompatible with USB hubs due to needing special drivers installed from the CD burner manufacturer.
Also, sometimes the chipset in the CD burner is incompatible with a hub. Most USB CD burner manufacturers recommend that the CD burner be directly connected to the host computer for these reasons.
That being said, if any of the ports on your hub are not working with a device other than your CB burner, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help you with troubleshooting the hub.
