Can't boot with docking station attached

I’m having problems booting and shutting down when using a UD-3900. With it attached, shut down takes 5 minutes instead of 30 seconds. The system won’t boot with it attached. I give up on booting after about 10 minutes. If I attach it after a boot, the docking station works fine. If I disconnect it before shut down, shut down goes fine.

I have a one month old ASUS Q551 laptop. 64-bit Windows 10 Home was preinstalled. I installed the DisplayLink via plug-and-play two days ago. So I should have the most recent Plugable software.

Considering the behavior you describe, the best way forward is to have you keep everything connected while it is working properly and send us the output of our diagnostic utility PlugDebug --> http://plugable.com/support/plugdebug as this will allow us to examine some log files from your system to help determine the next steps. Please send the file to support@plugable.com with ‘Ticket #124084’ in the subject line and please include your Amazon Order ID number.

Once we have the file we’ll go from there.
