Tried to install the Plugable USB 2.0 Ethernet Adapter 10/100/1000 Mbps which I bought from Amazon. I am running a Mac Air with OS X 10.6.8. I installed the latest driver, then installed the v.14 Serial dmg program. Rebooted each time. The USB/Ethernet port shows up and even says it is working… but it doesn’t. Have played around for about an hour now. Out of options. Help?

Thanks for posting your question about our USB2-E1000 on OS X 10.6.8. I’d like to verify that you have the latest drivers running, here’s a link:
USB2-E1000 drivers for OS X 10.4 to 10.7.
Reinstall with this package and verify that the USB-Ethernet adapter is functioning and is receiving an address.
That should be get the interface up and running, if not we’ll have to investigate further.
Also, can you tell me more about the v.14 Serial dmg program you mentioned? I’m not familiar with it. Thanks for replying back with this information!!!
