Can a powered USB 2.0 10-port HUB be used to charge USB chargable devices such as 3D glasses when pluged into a wall outlet?

I recently purchased a Plugable 10 Port USB 2.0 self-powered Hub. I would like to plug it into a wall outlet and charge me USB chargable devices like me 3D glasses. Will this product allow mw to do this? thanks

Thanks for asking your question here! The Plugable 10 Port USB 2.0 Hub is a standard USB 2.0 hub, requiring a host computer to be attached and on to charge devices at the USB 2.0 max 500mA rate.

When an upstream computer is not connected or on, the ports on the Hub will only provide trickle power (less than 100mA) which will not be enough for most USB 2.0 devices to charge.
