I am trying to format a 3TB Hitachi Deskstar 7200rpm drive, using Win7 Ultimate 64 bit. I have my Plugable U3 docking station connected via USB2 (my computer does not have USB3).
In Win7 Disk Management the largest partition I can select is 2048GB, which leaves an unallocated partition of 746GB. I would really like to have one partition for the entire drive.
