2018 MacBook Air

According to https://plugable.com/drivers/displaylink, “The 2018 MacBook Pro does not currently work with DisplayLink devices.” What about the new 2018 MacBook Air? Thanks.

Hello and thanks for posting!

At this time, DisplayLink-based devices (such as HDMI 2K and DVI outputs of the UD-ULTCDL) do not work properly with the MacBook Air 2018 model. We have updated the web link you mention to reflect this information.

To the best of our knowledge, Apple intends to provide a fix for this issue in the next update to macOS Mojave, version 10.14.2 (presently in public beta), however we do not know when Apple will release the 10.14.2 update or if the fix will remain included in the final public release.

Thank you,

Bob
