This is to help anybody who has an Asus Vivobook S1510UQ Laptop running
TrueOS.Which is a derivative OS of FreeBSD.
Steps needed to get USBC-E1000 to work.
In /boot.loader.conf
if_axge_load=“YES”
In /etc.rc.conf
ifconfig_ue0=“SYNCDHCP”
Do not turn on parallel booting in Openrc.
Make sure when compiling a personal kernel to keep miibus in ethernet drivers.
