Hello Yasser,

I am sorry to hear this. Does this happen when the display adapter is not attached?

I will have update/upgrade my ubuntu box to see if I can reproduce this behavior. If you are comfortable enough you could try installing an upstream kernel -> https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/Mainli….

Hi again Yasser,

Once I updated my box to the same kernel, I had similar problems on two other computers and Unity is to blame. I switched to GNOME and did not have these problems.

Fortunately, there is a quick way to fall back to GNOME (I used Metacity). I used the first answer in this question -> http://askubuntu.com/questions/450294….

Kind regards,
