UD-ULTCDL Stopped Working -- making clicking noise

UD-ULTCDL recently stopped being recognized by my computer (or any computers). When plugged in the computer shows that it’s charging over USB-C, but only for a second. It will then do that again every 5-10 seconds. Up close it sounds like it’s making a rapid soft clicking noise, but I don’t know if it was doing that before. Help!

Thank you so much for reaching out to us, I am sorry to hear that you are running into this issue, but I would be more than happy to assist!

The first thing that should be done is to completely disconnect the docking station from your system. Based on the description of the issue, the dock may be running into a problem associated with the amount of power it is attempting to send to your system.

The next step would be to have a replacement unit sent out ASAP, and then have the original one sent back to us (with all original accessories) so that we can test and verify what issues are occurring with the original dock.

If you could, please reach out to us directly at support@plugable.com, and send over your Amazon Order ID Number, so that we can verify the purchase, and have a new unit sent out. Then we can provide a prepaid shipping label for the original unit, and get you back up and running as soon as possible.
