Tablet won't boot after using Plugable UGA 3000 for Windows

I bought a Plugable for a Dell XPS tablet running Win 8.1. This has now happened twice and this time I am really upset. The device works fine and can duplicate my screen as I teach. I shut down normally and unplug the device.

The next time I go to power up, it gets partially into the start up routine and freezes leaving me a blank screen and never gets into the sign in screen. It just freezes black and stops.

Somehow I was able to, the first time, get the tablet to a screen that allowed me to safe launch and I was good to go after that.

This weekend I taught again and I’m at black, and Your device has rendered my tablet as a piece of junk.

I am asking for your help because the common thread both times is it happens the next time I launch and it is your device and or software and yes, I downloaded the most current driver when I put on the software.

How do I now start up my machine to get beyond black? I have also tried booting and holding down the shift key, and also tried mashing f8. I need to use the tablet for work today and now am stuck. I have been up a good part of the night working on recovering my machine but to no avail. Help.

Thanks for choosing the Plugable USB 3.0 to VGA/DVI/HDMI adapter! You can choose to download and install the latest software even before the unit arrives, so it will just plug and go. Visit http://plugable.com/drivers/displayli… for a download link.
