Power charing issue of Plugable Thunderbolt 3 Docking Station

I have a Plugable Thunderbolt 3 Docking Station with 60W Charging(model # TBT3-UDV).
It works fine including the power charging function. But It is no charging to my Mac Pro(Sierra 10.13.1) after It is waked-up from power saving mode. Could you please check this problem?

Thanks for contacting Plugable support. Sorry to hear about this issue. I’d be more than happy to assist you.

The first things I would check are:

  1. You’re using the Thunderbolt 3 cable that shipped with the dock.

  2. The Thunderbolt 3 cable is connected from laptop to dock to the Thunderbolt 3 port on the dock with the little computer icon above it.

  3. If you haven’t already done so, fully unplug the dock from all devices, power, and TBT3 cable to the host computer. Wait about 30-60 seconds, then reconnect the power cable first, TBT3 host cable next, and USB devices last. Sometimes a reset in this order can resolve this kind of issue.

Thanks for trying. I’d try the following:

  1. An SMC reset: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295
  2. Ensure you are on the latest macOS update (which I believe you are at 10.13.1)
  3. If that still doesn’t help we may need to try sending you a replacement dock under warranty.
