Plugable UD-ULTCDL Not recognizing keyboard/mouse

I’ve been using my USB-C docking station with a new HP Spectre x360 13t laptop for about a week now. Two monitors, keyboard, and mouse have worked fine. Suddenly, this morning my two monitors are still working but my mouse and keyboard stopped working in the middle of using them. If I unplug my laptop from the dock the keyboard and mouse power on, but as soon as I connect they lose power.

I’ve gone through the reset steps on my docking station (unplug USB, unplug power, wait 30 seconds, plug in power, plug in USB) but it didn’t help.

Hi Everyone,

We were able to work with Logan directly via email, and after working through various troubleshooting steps and isolation, Logan found that the issue was related to the drivers not fully installing due to specific folder option settings.

He was able to resolve the problem by heading into local disk, going into the parent folder for all of my .inf files (C:\Windows\WinSxS in my case) and select “include all subfolders”

We appreciate Logan working so diligently with us, and providing such great answers to our questions. If anyone else is running into a similar issue, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly at support@plugable.com

Thank you for your time,
