Not connecting to monitor

I have a plugable USB 2 laptop docking station, model UD-3900H, that when connected to a Dell Inspiron 15 (brand new) doesn’t connect to the monitor. I’ve tried use the HDMI connection instead of the DVI, without success. It wasn’t connecting to ethernet either, until I installed the driver. Is there a driver to connect to the monitor that I am not seeing? I have the docking station plugged into a USB 3.0 Port. Tried the USB 2 port as well, just to see, no luck.

Based on your description of the behavior, our first step is to get some additional information from your system.

If you would, please keep the dock connected and both monitors attached (even though they are not working) and send us the output of our diagnostic utility PlugDebug ( http://plugable.com/support/plugdebug ) as this will allow us to examine some log files from your system to help determine the next steps.
