No signal on TV with the Display port to HDMI adapter

I am getting nothing on the screen using the pluggable Displayport to HDMI adapter.

So to describe the problem, I have two 4K TV’s attached to my MSI GT 1030 card running at 3840X2160. This graphics card has one HDMI and one displayport ports.
One TV is attached using the HDMI cable and the other is using the plugable displayport to HDMI cable. All I get on the screen is No signal on the TV that has your adapter plugged in.

As far as I know, the HDMI cable works as I purchased a different Displayport to HDMI adapter (not sure if its Active or Passive) from Amazon and that kind of works but has different behavioural issues in that it won’t work if the computer starts up with it plugged in but does work once the computer has started up!

I was recommended to purchase an Active adapter so I purchased yours from Amazon but it doesn’t seem to work.

Thanks for contacting us, I am sorry this is not working as expected.

Thank you for the details on your configuration, can you connect the DisplayPort to HDMI adapter to an HDMI cable connected to one monitor, then connect it directly to the graphics card. Next please manually select the HDMI input on the monitor. Please let me know if this helps.

Is it possible to test this adapter with another monitor or television to check if it is working?
