Is the desktop layout retained after laptop resumes from standby/hibernate/sleep

Hi, I am considering purchasing a Plugable USB-3 for my laptop.
I cannot find the answer to the following question - can someone please help?
I plan to add two monitors via the Plugable UD3 and set up an extended desktop - a different program displayed on each monitor.
When my laptop resumes from standby/hibernate/sleep mode, is the desktop layout retained?

Thanks for posting! Without knowing your specific system you will be using, we would expect your monitor and desktop layout to be retained when awaking from sleep assuming Windows is up to date, the latest DisplayLink driver is installed and the internal graphics processor within your PC is up to date.

It does not retain the Desktop, Windows 10. I have tested it and found that the Desktop retains its arrangement on the PC, but when plugged into the second monitor via the Plugable docking station UD-3900 Rev B2, the Desktop goes haywire on the second monitor. IS THERE A FIX AVAILABLE? Thanks!
