I can't connect to monitor

I have a Dell monitor and it is not being recognised as connected to the docking station. All other peripherals are recognised.
I’m using the DVI port out to a DisplayPort on the Dell Monitor. What can I try?

Thank you so much for reaching out to us, I am sorry that you are running into this issue, but I would be happy to assist!

Based on the description of the issue, this is most likely due to the individual conversion cable you are using for the DVI to DisplayPort. Most cables of this type are not bidirectional, and can only be used on systems that have DisplayPort ports, and a DVI based monitor. Would it be possible to obtain the model number or cable name to see if this is the case?
