How to pair with Cricut Explore

I purchased the Bluetooth USB adapter to be able to pair it with my Cricut Explore. I have previously been using the Ipad until I rearranged my house to specifically place the Cricut and my desktop in the same room. The adapter was plug and play but it does not find the Cricut even though it only 5 feet away.

Hi Sharon,

Thank you for posting about connecting to your Cricut. I’m sorry about the troubles with it. In our experience here at Plugable, Cricuts can be a little temperamental to connect, but we have had reports of success from several customers.

To make sure that everything is set up properly for the connection, please check the following:

  1. Be sure to turn off Bluetooth on your iPad while connecting to make sure that the Cricut isn’t automatically connecting to it instead of making itself available to your computer.

  2. Check that the latest Cricut software is on your computer.

  3. Try the connection process again. If it still fails, please let me know. We can do some troubleshooting and find the trouble. If the adapter itself is faulty, we will get a replacement out to you immediately.

Thank you,

David
