I saw a question on Amazon that said a flathead screwdriver was used, but how? Maybe 2 flathead screwdrivers on each side simultaneously?

Hello Dan,

Just pull the base off with your hand, it will take a fair amount of force, but it’s not going to hurt anything.

Thanks, but it seemed way too secure to pull off without damage…

I ended up using a flathead screwdriver to press in the tab on one side of the connector, then turned it over to get the tab on the other side.

We pull them off by hand here all the time, so that method definitely works for future reference.
