Ethernet adapter is not detected on NVIDIA shield tablet

Hi there, at first sorry for bad English.
When I plug in my Ethernet adapter, the less doesn’t work and I have to plug out and in like 50 times with combination of power off and on of my tablet to get the adapter to be detected… It’s so annoying because I haven’t the wifi in my bedroom…
I got an NVIDIA shield tablet and I’ve already returned one of yours adapter because of this problem.
Thanks for any help

Hi Maxence,

Thanks for posting. I’d be happy to help!

There could be a few things happening here…the first thing is to determine which of our Ethernet adapters you have, as not all of them are supported on Android (which is running on your Nvidia Shield). We try to have up to date compatibility lists on each of our product pages, for example http://plugable.com/products/usb2-e1000 which lists the Shield specifically.

If you have one of our adapters that is supported on Android and it isn’t working properly the next step would be to send you a pre-tested replacement. The best way to proceed at that point would be for you to send us an email at support@plugable.com with ‘Ticket 98605’ in the subject line with your Amazon Order ID number so we can get the process started.

Let us know the additional information and/or send us the email and we can go from there.

Thank you,

Bob
