DVI monitor works fine, but not HDMI.

Hello,

I’ve recently setup a Lenovo thinkpad using the UD-3900 docking station. For some reason I cannot get it to recognize the HDMI monitor, but it will recognize the one off the DVI port.

These are two brand new exact model monitors. I believe I’ve downloaded and installed the latest drivers from this website, but still no luck.

Any suggestions?

Hi ostrich99, thanks for posting! I am sorry to hear that the HDMI port on our dock is not working as expected and I will be happy to help!

Thank you for the description of the issue you are seeing. Just to clarify, would you be able to let us know the brand and model of monitors you are using? One quick variable to double-check would be to make sure that the HDMI input is selected as the source input within the monitors settings. If you haven’t tried already, could you make sure that the input setting is set to HDMI using the monitor’s menu?

Pending that information and assuming the input source is set to HDMI, would you be able to swap the DVI and HDMI cable on the monitor end just to see if the behavior is following the HDMI port when connected to the other monitor?

Please let us know this additional information whenever you have a moment and we can go from there.

Thank you,

David W.
