I was able to get in touch with this customer, and it turns out that this wasn’t our product.
However, this does happen occasionally, a small plastic shaving can end up inside the lens housing during manufacturing and gets knocked loose onto the lens during shipping. If anyone receives a unit with this defect, please contact us immediately at support@plugable.com for a replacement!
