DC-125 Monitor Driver Not Auto-Installing

Just plugged my Plugable DC-125 into my new ThinkPad (work computer), running Win7 Enterprise. Mouse and keyboard work perfectly. Received an error stating that the monitor driver was not installed correctly. (Display on the laptop still works great, but I’d rather use my monitor!) Can’t find the driver on Plugable’s website. What can I do?

FYI, everything functions perfectly on my home computer (a Dell Inspiron notebook), so I assume there is some issue with the monitor driver on a ThinkPad.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi John,

Thanks for posting here! When Windows update is enabled, plugging the hardware into a network-connected Windows 7 system (and Vista/XP with Windows Update for hardware enabled) will trigger automatic detection, download, and install of the proper drivers.

If Windows Update is not enabled or the system does not have Internet connectivity when the device is first plugged in, you would have to install the drivers manually. You can download and install the drivers for the graphics port on the Plugable DC-125 from the link below:
