Compatibility problems with Win-7 on 64 bit OS?

Why does installing the Plugable USB Bluetooth disable both my dasKeyboard and my Wacom pen pad, when both are plugged into my computer via USB? I had a similar experience with another bluetooth dongle which I believed to be the fault of the the inexpensive dongle. But obviously, there is some sort of system incompatibility going on here. I run Win 7 with an INtel COre i7-4790K CPU @ 4.0 GHz with 16 GB ram on a 64 bit OS. ANy help? I’d like to pair my new POS card reader via bluetooth and as she sits, I’m stumped.

Hi Gary,

Thank you for posting about your Bluetooth adapter. I’m sorry about the problem with other devices disconnecting. I suspect there may be a USB power issue.

Are the devices plugged directly into the computer or connected through a USB hub? Also, it looks like there is a USB hub built into the keyboard. Is anything plugged into there?

Thanks!

David
