cannot see external monitor with UD-3900 docking station

New laptop, new DVI monitor and new UD-3900 docking station. Downloaded new drivers. System said display is working by it is just a black screen. Windows 10 settings show second screen but there is nothing on the screen

Thanks for contacting us, I am sorry this is not working as expected.

I would like to start by verifying the monitor is set to use the correct input, please let me know which connection type is used on the back of the monitor ( for instance, HDMI, DVI, or VGA ). Additionally, please let me know the manufacturer name and model number of the monitor so I can look up the procedure for manually selecting the input port.
