Audio stopped working

I have had the plugable USB 2.0 for about 9 months now. The audio stopped working yesterday. I have the device set as the default device in the playback tab of the sound settings. When I run the test is shows sound on the meter but it is not outputting sound. I have confirmed that sound works directly through the speakers and laptop if I bypass the docking station. Any feedback would be appreciated

Plugable Technologies

I am experiencing the same issues with two of my Plugable docks. I tried all the troubleshooting steps as noted in other threads (changing default audio device to USB audio, updating drivers, etc) We are running win7 on the laptops. The only way I can get audio to an external source is to use the default win audio drivers and use the headphone port on the laptop. I can not get sound out of the plugable dock to an external source. I don’t have an Amazon Order ID handy, but I do have 40 of these docks and would appreciate some help! Thank you for your help in advance,

Eric

Hi Eric,

Please contact us at support@plugable.com and we’ll get you fixed up.

Thanks,
Jerome.

I am experiencing the same issues as Mike and Eric above, but the difference is I just got my Plugable this week. All other ports on the Plugable work perfectly but my speakers do not make sound. I’ve tried changing the default and clicking it back to the USB audio device - on a Windows7 64-bit Ultrabook - and I get no sound if I attempt to plug into the Plugable. Plugging these same speakers into my Ultrabook I get flawless sound.

Can you help me?!
