Hi Cesar,

Thanks for posting here! Just shoot us an email at support@plugable.com with details regarding your setup and the issue along with your Amazon Order ID and a link to this thread. We’ll help figure out what is causing the issue and how to resolve it.

Hey Cesar, did they provide a solution or you had to return it?
Your infinity is on default asus firmware? (4.0 or 4.1?)
I was considering buying this for my infinity.

Thanks

Hi Emerson-

I’m hoping Cesar will jump in here to verify, but we found a rather unique fix for him- oh and he was still on 4.0 when we saw this issue.

Basically, he wound up having to use the device on a powered hub. It seems for some reason his tablet wasn’t consistently providing enough power to the device, which somehow caused a reset. This seemed to be a one-off issue since I found a couple of other Infinity Pad user 5 star reviews on our Amazon product page.

The last I heard from Cesar in a private email thread is below (we take discussions private when we need shipping address or other personally identifiable information).

“… once I
plugged it in with the usb powered hub it had no issues what so ever.
Downloading speeds were consistent and did not restart the tab with great
speeds.”

Thanks for asking ahead, we definitely expect the USB2-E1000 to work with the Asus Infinity Pad

Best wishes-

I had a faulty usb/ethernet plug but will not complain, I personally recommend Plugable for the Infinity, it works like a champ thanks to Jeff and the Plugable team for replacing and working out the problem one step at a time, my only recommendation is that you do update to 4.1, have not had any issues since we figured out what was wrong. 10 stars out of 10…
