Asus Graphics card conflict with Plugable DC-125 USB

Hi,

I recently bought an Asus ux31 and selected the Plugable DC-125 USB 2.0 Docking Station as the best way to replicat ports. However i connected the plugable Dc 125 to the laptop and it started to download drivers before stopping and saying “incompatible with system graphics card” - look to displaylink.com for drivers. Looked at that site and drivers do not help the siuation.

Any suggestions on how best to resolve this?

thanks
F

Hi Fergal,

Thanks for your post, we’ll be happy to help. The first troubleshooting step to take is to run the Aero troubleshooter from Microsoft. Here’s how:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/wi…

The troubleshooter will find and fix any issues related to the Windows graphics system.

If that doesn’t help get your DisplayLink drivers installed, run the DisplayLink support tool and forward the .zip file that it creates on your desktop over to us at support@plugable.com and we’ll figure out next steps.

Thanks for your patience,
Jerome.
